Check-In & Arrival
From what time can I check in?
Your apartment will be ready from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. If you happen to arrive earlier in Oberbozen, we’d be happy to share some tips on things you can do in the meantime!
What’s the difference between Check-In and Smart Check-In?
With Smart Check-In, you can check in online from anywhere! A few days before your arrival, we’ll send you a pre-arrival message with all the important details for your stay, including the option for online check-in. You’ll simply enter your personal information. When you arrive, you’ll only need to stop by our partner property, the Parkhotel Holzner, to take care of a few quick formalities before your Bella Posta vacation begins. If you prefer, you can do the entire check-in process at Parkhotel Holzner, though it will take a little longer.
Can I pay for my entire stay in advance?
Absolutely! In fact, at Bella Posta, it’s standard procedure for the full stay to be paid in advance during the booking process. We’ll send you a payment link where you can pay via credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. After your stay, the only charges remaining will be the local tax (EUR 3.50 per night per person aged 14 and over) and any additional services you have booked during your stay. We’ll send you the invoice after your online check-out, and you can pay it conveniently from home.
What’s the deal with the digital key?
Once you’ve checked in, we’ll send you your digital key, which allows you to easily open the main door and your apartment door with your phone during your stay. Sounds smart? It is! But if you prefer a traditional key card, we’ll provide you with one instead of the digital key when you arrive.
Can I travel by public transport?
It’s a breeze! Hop on the train to Bolzano, then a short 500-meter walk to the cable car station, and in just 10 minutes, you’ll be up in Oberbozen. From the cable car's top station, it’s only a 3-minute walk to Bella Posta.

What’s included in the price?
At Bella Posta, we offer you a totally carefree experience. The apartment price is for up to two adults (each additional person from 3 years old costs EUR 25-50 per night, depending on the apartment type) and includes the RittenCard, a digital guest card for unlimited use of all public transport in South Tyrol; final cleaning, as well as mid-stay cleanings every three days; one private parking spot per apartment, right next to the house; a hiking backpack available for your use during your stay; and, of course, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the entire property. Still looking for more? Through the Bella Posta app, you can book unforgettable experiences during your stay, such as guided hikes or e-bike tours, day spa access, tennis courts, and much more, at our partner property, the Parkhotel Holzner.
Is there a dining option?
In your apartment, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, along with a guide to our best recommendations for cafés, taverns, and restaurants in Oberbozen and Bolzano. When Bella Posta Hotel opens fully in 2026, you’ll be able to book breakfast or an all-inclusive light package there.
What does Smart Stay mean?
True to our motto "Do it all – or nothing at all," a stay at Bella Posta is all about comfort – from start to finish. That's why almost everything works digitally: From booking to check-out, and even during your stay, you can easily book experiences like day spa access, tennis, hikes, e-bike tours, and more, all through the Bella Posta app.
Where can I shop?
In Oberbozen, and very close to Bella Posta, you'll find a tobacconist, pharmacy, bakery, butcher, and other shops. You can find a full list with opening hours in the guide provided in your apartment.
Can my dog also stay at Bella Posta?
Yes, your dog is welcome at Bella Posta! On request and in certain apartment types, we can provide a dog blanket, food bowl, and dog waste bags for EUR 35. We kindly ask you not to walk your dog on the surrounding meadows and fields, as the Ritten farmers use these areas to grow food for their cows and other animals. The many hiking trails and promenades are much better suited for walks, of course, only if you clean up after your dog.
Where can I swim?
In summer, the public pool in Oberbozen and the Wolfsgruben Lake are perfect for carefree swimming fun. You can also book the day spa offer at our partner property, the Parkhotel Holzner (subject to availability and upon request).
What should I pack for my vacation?
We don’t want to give you any rules, of course, but we’d strongly recommend packing good shoes, active wear, and sunscreen for hikes and excursions. This way, you'll experience South Tyrol at its best!
Will my apartment be cleaned during my stay?
Yes, of course! The final cleaning, as well as a mid-stay cleaning every three days, is included in the apartment price. You can also book additional cleanings (EUR 45, including laundry change). In case of excessive dirtiness, we reserve the right to charge a flat rate of EUR 150.
Can I do my laundry at Bella Posta?
Yes, you can. On the ground floor, you’ll find a washing machine, along with an iron and ironing board. Tokens for the washing machine and laundry detergent tabs are available at the Bella Posta shop in the lobby (EUR 7 per wash cycle with detergent).
Check-Out
By what time do I need to check out?
We kindly ask that you vacate your apartment by 11:00 AM on your departure day, so we can prepare it in time for the next guests.
What’s the difference between Check-Out and Smart Check-Out?
On the day of departure, you can easily check out digitally (we’ll send you a reminder, of course). This lets us know you're on your way home. But if you prefer, you can also check out in person at our partner property, the Parkhotel Holzner. Just let us know the day before your departure if you'd like to handle the formalities in person.
What are the payment methods?
As mentioned, most of your bill is typically paid in advance (via credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal). The remaining local tax (EUR 3.50 per night per person aged 14 and over) and any additional services can be paid directly on-site (at our partner property, Parkhotel Holzner) either the day before or on the day of departure, by debit card, credit card, or cash. If you chose the smart check-out, we’ll send you an invoice for any outstanding amounts, which you can conveniently pay online (via credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal).
